Who Am I? (for those who care)

Some airgun enthusiasts might like to know more about me. I reside in Manitoba,
Canada. 34 years of age. I am self employed. I work through my dad's business
location and assist him with his tool & die shop as I can. Mostly I design and
build stamping & bending dies. I enjoy building prototypes and provide this service
along with CAD (computer aided design).

I got into CNC machinery at the age of 18. Up until then I worked part time lathing
cast iron sprockets for a combine parts manufacturer. Although I only programmed using
G code it was still a learning experience. It was through this company that I attended
my first IMTS show in Chicago. The show really opened my mind to possibilities of
what the working world had to offer.

A few years later I moved to Ontario, Canada and got work at a tool and die shop.
Starting as a CNC operator, I was soon trained in CAD/CAM and started designing
vacuum molds. The shop mostly built stamping dies for automotive part manufacturers.
A few years later I was able to get my toolmaker license and trained on the operation
of wire EDM.

In 2003 I decided to move back to Manitoba where I grew up. My dad has a small
tool and die business and I assisted for awhile. Soon I found myself developing
machines, ideas for products and assisting companies in their tooling. I decided
to start my own business and since 2005 I have been self employed.

I am a born again Christian. I accepted the Lord Jesus Christ, September 3, 2006. I know
now that I will be in heaven one day! God assures salvation. John 3:16 -
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. KJV

I was married Oct.6, 2007. God has truly blessed me with a lovely bride. Marriage
has made life much busier and leaves less time for hobbies. I do what I can as you
can see. Thanks for reading.
